Our first concern is your safety and well being, and due to the impending inclement weather on Saturday, February 6th the Bronx River Ramble Walk will be re-scheduled to Monday, February 15 , 2010 ( Presidents Day). Bx River Greenway Team meeting
Bronx River Art Center gallery, 1087 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10460

Join us for the first Greenway Team meeting on the decade! We will discuss the rezoning proposal for West Farms Road, bike/ped access to the Concrete Plant, and plan a walking tour of the Pelham Parkway link of the Bronx River Greenway.

Meeting will take place at the Bronx River Art Center @ 1087 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10460. (Map). Note Location!!

Bronx River Ecoteam Meeting
Conference Room, Ranaqua, One Bronx River Parkway

The Bronx River Ecology Team will be meeting on Thursday, February 12th in the conference room at Ranaqua.  The meeting agenda will include election of team co-chairs for 2010, a review of projects being proposed for the NFWF Bronx River Watershed Initiative grants, a dicussion of the Ecoteam's 2010 goals and priorities, and project updates.  All are welcome to attend.

Muskrat Cove

Join us for an information filled walk through Muskrat Cove and the Woodlawn neighborhood as we discuss the history and ecology of the area as well as the human impacts on the environment while learning the skills of guided walks. Led by Stephen Devillo and Damian Griffin

Location and Directions:
Begins at the entrance to Muskrat Cove, adjacent to the Woodlawn Metro North Station
Train. 2 Train to 233rd, walk down the hill and over the bridge. Park is on your right. Use Woodlawn Metro North Station for a map search.

Bronx Green Drinks will be held on the third Thursday of every month, so put the dates on your calendar for 2010: Jan. 21, Feb. 18, Mar. 18, April 15, May 20, June 17, July 15, Aug. 19, Sept. 16, Oct. 21, Nov. 18, Dec. 16. Locations will vary; nominate your favorite "watering hole" for as a future location.
