Gunhill Road #2 Train Station
Join us for our monthly
RAMBLE
This month we will be exploring
GUN HILL Rd / E233rd Street
10am
Tour will follow the path of the Old Bronx River Parkway from Gun Hill Rd to East 233rd St at Muskrat Cove (approx 1.5 miles) through the communities of Wakefield, Williamsbridge and Woodlawn. The collection of 1920's and 1030's apartment buildings along Bronx Blvd will be highligted.
Meet at #2 Train Gun Hill Road Station promptly at 10am
Tour leaders will be Mike Gupta and Hank Stoobants, history buffs and volunteers for the Bronx River Alliance and the Wakefield, Williamsbridge & Woodlawn History Project and memebers of the East Bronx History Forum. There will be some walking, some talking, some facts, some stories, some amazing old photos and some handouts.
Free, no registration required.
