A Day in the Life of the Bronx River
Various locations along the river

Calling all past, present, and future Bronx River Stewards!


Bring the whole family to enjoy a day of science, history, art, and exploration. Join a science study in the morning to discover the secrets of the Bronx River, from how it flows to what lives in its depths. Then we hope to see you afterward in Concrete Plant Park for data sharing and entertainment. See you on the Bronx River!

Upper River Paddle and Pick up
Shoelace Park (219th and Bronx Blvd.)

Join us on a paddling adventure and help us clean the Bronx River of floatable debris!

Start Location: 219th and Bronx Blvd
End Location: Bronx Zoo (Boston Rd. Entrance)

All need to wear close toed attached shoes and complete an ACA adult or child waiver. 

Please bring limited personal belongings and a light snack.

Registration opens 2 weeks prior to trip date at 10a and ends day before trip at 10a. There is a limit of 20 tickets, once site has sold out of tickets there are no spots open and no waiting list. Please plan your purchase accordingly.
