Bronx River Flotilla
Traverse the Bronx River - beginning at Shoelace Park end at Concrete Plant Park
Registration is full. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
Details may be found here.
Join us for our first public paddling event of the season. You and over 200 participants will paddle and glide along almost six miles of the Bronx River, from 219th Street to Concrete Plant Park. Enjoy unique views of the neighborhoods through which the river flows on its way to the sea.
Due to the numbers of paddlers on this trip, we request that all paddlers have experience and be 18 or older. Throughout the season we will offer experiences for all skill levels and ages.
Canoeing takes place on water so expect to get wet, the banks of the river are dirt so expect to get muddy, and be sure to wear clothes appropriate for the activity, including closed toe, well fitted footwear. While most of the trip is a tranquil paddle, we are prepared for accidents and you should be too. Consider bringing a change of clothes.
Please use this Map for locations,
Make sure to bring a completed waiver to facilitate getting on water in a timely mannner! Click here to learn about what to expect on a paddle.
All funds raised for this event will go back into the essential work on the Bronx River that you entrust us to do.
