July 7th Bronx Pedal and Paddle !!Cancelled due to heat!!!
Concrete Plant Park
Our apologies but this event has been cancelled due to the heat advisory.
Join us at 11 am on Saturday July 7th for bike tour and a paddling tour (2pm launch) of the Bronx River estuary. Starting at Concrete Plant Park, just below the 6 train station at Whitlock, we will paddle out towards the mouth of the river and the Long Island Sound to see the industrial side of river life, as well as some of the present restoration projects underway. You must register for the paddling ( space limited) and RSVP for the biking. Several bikes are available for loan. Please contact devona.sharpe@parks.nyc.gov for bike loan info.
