Alewife Game: Choose Your Own Adventure
Experience the amazing journey of an alewife herring making its way home from the open ocean to the Bronx River! This interactive adventure allows you to explore the New York Harbor and the Bronx River as the alewife tries to make it back to the place where it was born. Obstacles line your path, and you must choose your actions carefully to make it safely to the other side!
The Bronx River Alliance serves as a coordinated voice for the river and works in harmonious partnership to protect, improve and restore the Bronx River corridor so that it can be a healthy ecological, recreational, educational and economic resource for the communities through which the river flows.
The Alliance works in close partnership with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation and with over one hundred other partners to reclaim the Bronx River.
