This event start time has been delayed due to high winds in the morning. Start time for both the cleanup and native grass planting is now 1:00pm at the same location.Â

Join the Teddy Bear Project and the Bronx River Alliance for a special stewardship event.
Lend a hand in the Bronx River Forest as we pickup litter that is overwhelming the Bronx Forest, ultimately flowing into the Bronx River. Teddy Bear Project will be leading a native grass planting in the area as well.
Find our team at the Burke Avenue Bridge in Bronx Park on Saturday, November 12 from 11-1pm. Teddy Bear Project activities will be taking place until 3pm. Dress comfortably for the weather with long pants and protective shoes or boots. Please bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.
We will have gloves and tools for collecting the trash! For questions or concerns, email victoria.toro@bronxriver.org or by calling 718-542-4124. For more details about the planting activity, reach out to Roseanne Andrade at CQ4CATS11@gmail.com
