Our advisory teams are true to the mission of the Bronx River Alliance and their beginnings in grassroots community organizing.
In advisory teams, community members help drive priorities and activities—whether it’s restoring the ecology, developing the greenway, or expanding the foodway.
Each team is open to the public and holds quarterly or monthly meetings. Click on a team below to learn more!
Each season presents new opportunities. We’re looking for individuals interested and/or passionate about the Bronx River—especially during the summer.
Opportunities range from supporting the ecology program projects to helping us spice up our social media accounts.

The Bronx River Alliance serves as a coordinated voice for the river and works in harmonious partnership to protect, improve and restore the Bronx River corridor so that it can be a healthy ecological, recreational, educational and economic resource for the communities through which the river flows.
The Alliance works in close partnership with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation and with over one hundred other partners to reclaim the Bronx River.
