Join us on Saturday, June 28th, 2025 for a guided Estuary Paddle on the Bronx River!
This guided canoe tour starts and ends at the Concrete Plant Park boat launch. It takes paddlers through the lower saltwater portion of the river (to the river mouth and back), featuring a duality of estuarine and urban habitat. A great opportunity for birders to see a wide variety of shorebirds that call the Bronx home!
*Please note that this section of the river is influenced by tides, current, and winds. Due to variable river conditions and the possibility of encountering some boat traffic, we limit this paddle to participants aged 14 years or older. This is an intermediate level paddle and we recommend that paddlers have some basic canoe or kayak experience for this particular trip.
We will provide boats, paddles, PFDs, and a basic paddling safety orientation prior to getting on the water.
Registration is required for this event, and will open 2 weeks before the event date.
Please note that the Bronx River Alliance is unable to provide refunds for individual cancellations. However, if the paddle is cancelled due to unsafe weather or river conditions, all ticket holders will receive a full refund.
If you have any questions about this event, please feel free to email our Recreation Team: paddle@bronxriver.org.
