Join the Bronx River Alliance at Shoelace Park to celebrate City of Forest Day!
This celebration of the urban forest of Shoelace Park will take place from 12pm – 3pm, near the Olinville Playground (closest to the 219th Street and Bronx Boulevard entrance of the park).
This free, family-friendly event will include:
- Canoeing on the Bronx River
- Guided Nature Walk to learn about the trees and wildlife in our beautiful urban forest
- Learn about the Friends of Shoelace Park group, and how to join!
