Concrete Friends was formed in 2018 as a volunteer advocacy group dedicated to activating, caring for, and improving Concrete Plant Park.

They host community events, garden sessions, and educational programs to foster local stewardship and ecological health. Some examples of activities include park cleanups, native plantings, and educational workshops.
