Join the Bronx River Alliance for a Paddle and Pick Up on Friday September 4th at 10am!

This guided canoeing river clean up will allow participants to enjoy the river and protect local wildlife at the same time! Participants will be given gloves, grabbers, and trash bags or buckets, to safely remove floatable litter from the Bronx River.

We will be meeting at the canoe launch at the end of the Bronx Zoo Mitsubishi Riverwalk 10am on 9/4/26. This location is accessible via a short walk from the Boston Road entrance of the Zoo (near Parking Lot B).

There is limited street parking in the area, and the Bronx Zoo charges a large fee for parking in their lot, so we highly recommend taking public transportation. This entrance of the zoo is accessible by multiple buses, as well as the 2 and 5 train.

Minors above the age of 10 are welcome to participate, but MUST be accompanied by an adult. All minors must have an adult in their boat, and have a waiver signed by a legal guardian.

Previous canoeing experience is strongly recommended for this activity. Advanced registration is required to participate.
