Join the Bronx River Alliance and our partners in planning for 2026!
The entire event is open to organizations and community members interested in sharing, aligning, or collaborating in service of the Bronx River and its communities.
The Assembly will provide a space to:
– Build a shared understanding of challenges and opportunities across the watershed
– Share knowledge and on-the-ground work from Westchester and the Bronx
– Strengthen relationships that support coordinated stewardship, resilience, and river health
We are excited to host this year’s Bronx River Assembly in partnership with the New York Botanical Garden, on Thursday March 5. We will have two sessions this year, you can join for one or both:
Afternoon Session, 3:00pm – 5:00pm:
Join us for presentations, a panel, and break out groups with elected officials, municipal partners, and agencies from all throughout the watershed. We will be discussing the Bronx River Watershed Plan, sharing updates and progress, and identifying priorities and opportunities to improve the health of the River and the communities through which it flows.
Evening Session, 5:30pm – 8:00pm:
Join us for community share outs from Bronx River advocates, organizations, and community members to plan for a great year ahead all along the Bronx River. This is a great opportunity to meet your neighbors and network!
Please register in advance, so we can plan to provide refreshments, food, and seating for all.
Directions:
This event will take place in the Garden Terrace Room of the NYBG, accessible from the Garden’s Mosholu entrance (2950 Southern Boulevard, Bronx, NY 10458). Parking will be available.
