Join the Bronx River Alliance from 12-4pm at Starlight Park to celebrate City of Water Day! We’re coming together to celebrate our waterfronts and help build resilient, connected communities.
There are so many ways to enjoy this free event:
- Art activities led by local artists
- Drumming performances
- Zumba
- Journaling Activity
- Native Plant/Pollinator Activity
- Sample teas made from plants foraged from the Bronx River Foodway
- Join a Green Infrastructure Walking Tour of the Bronx River Greenway from Garrison Park to Starlight Park (1pm – 3pm)
- Learn about how climate change connects and impacts our communities along the river, and join the efforts of the Bronx Climate Justice Task Force!
- Join a “Paddle and Pick Up” canoing activity to steward and restore the Bronx River. (Please note that advance registration required to participate in the paddle – please sign up here).
