Volunteer with the NYC Parks Stewardship Team to plant trees in the Bronx River Forest! Trees provide so many benefits to New Yorkers such as improved air and water quality, reduced pollution, and lower energy costs. Volunteers will be trained in proper planting techniques. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Face masks may be worn at your discretion. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone. This event has been funded in part by NYC Service.
After planting, you can stay to help clean up the park as part of the Bronx River Sweep effort! Please note, that these 2 events have different registration links.
