🚲✨ Family-Friendly Bronx River Ride ✨🚲
Join Transportation Alternatives and for a fun 6-mile ride along the Bronx River Greenway! We’ll roll out from 233rd & Bronx Blvd and wrap up at Concrete Plant Park. Pace will be a chill 7–9 mph—perfect for families and kiddos 👨👩👧👦.
- Most of the route is on the safe, protected Greenway. We’ll dismount and walk our bikes when crossing Tremont Ave and 177th St.
- At the finish, the Bronx River Alliance will host a Community Banquet with free paddling 🛶, activities, and fun for all.
- Thanks to REI, participants will also get a free water bottle (while supplies last).
Meet-up: 9:30am at Bronx Blvd & 233rd St
Wheels down: 10:00am sharp
End Point: 12:30pm at Concrete Plant Park
Ride at your own risk. Please bring:
- Helmet
- Your own bike
Do an ABC Bike Check the night before + morning of:
- A = Air → Check tires & fill if needed
- B = Brakes → Test both front & back
- C = Crank & Chain → Make sure pedals + chain move smoothly
