Join this discussion of the history of resistance, resilience, and renewal in the South Bronx, between author Carolyn McLaughlin (“South Bronx Battles”) and filmmaker Vivian Vázquez Irizarry (“Decade of Fire”). There will also be time for an audience Q&A, and discussion of this history’s impacts on current conditions in the Bronx.
This special event will take place at the Bronx River House on Wednesday, June 27 from 6-8pm.
