Join us for the City Nature Challenge at the Bronx River Forest on Friday, April 29th! The City Nature Challenge (CNC) is an international effort to document plants and wildlife in cities. Started as a friendly competition between LA and San Francisco, the annual 4-day competition now takes place around the world!

We will demonstrate how to easily document and upload observations using the free iNaturalist app and then lead a walk around the park to record the nature around us. Many parks and green spaces across NYC will be participating, so show up for beautiful Bronx Park and help us upload the most observations to win the competition!

We will be on site from 2pm to 6pm and will be meeting at the Burke Avenue Bridge over the Bronx River, nearest to the Bronx Park entrance at Bronx Blvd and Burke Ave. Please email Christian.murphy@bronxriver.org for more information.
