Public Food Scrap Drop Off is back at Bronx River House in Starlight Park (1490 Sheridan Blvd). Community members can drop off your food scraps Fridays from 9-5pm.

Most food scraps are accepted including fruits and vegetables, eggshells, coffee grounds and tea bags, nuts, bread, rice, and pasta are accepted. Plant waste, including leaf and yard waste and houseplants can also be dropped off. NOTE: This drop-off site CANNOT accept meat, fish, dairy, or food-soiled paper.
