Join the Bronx River Alliance every Tuesday from 10a-12pm for stewardship activities such as litter removal, weeding, mulching, watering & planting at different rain gardens & newly planted tree sites along the Bronx River!
On Tuesday, July 18, we will be stewarding a rain garden in Shoelace Park (224th st & Bronx Blvd). Take the 2 train to 225th street stop and walk 8 minutes west towards Bronx blvd and 224th Street. We will have a table and tablecloth set up.
All necessary materials, like gloves, and gardening tools, will be supplied by the Alliance.
Please wear clothing appropriate for outdoor weather and gardening/cleaning activities. We also recommend bringing snacks and a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated.
