Join the Bronx River Alliance, Beczak Environmental Education Center, and the LYFE Coalition on a walk to experience the conditions of Bronx River Road and the spaces and resources the community is cut off from.
We will start at the Woodlawn Metro North Station on the West side, and walk north to the Oak Street Extension. The round trip distance will be approximately 3-miles. Based on attendance, we may split into two groups, with one being a shorter walk for those interested.
One of the main issues with Bronx River Road is the lack ADA accessible infrastructure. If you are less abled we would love to have you on the walk, but know that it will be a challenge.
