On Tuesday, November 19th, we will be planting native plants in Starlight Park with our Horticulture Crew!
When you arrive, we’ll provide you with an introduction into our work we do along the river and the necessary tools you’ll be using for the day.
Please wear clothing appropriate for outdoor weather and gardening/cleaning activities. We also recommend bringing snacks and a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated.
All gloves and tools needed will be provided by the Alliance.
The meeting point for this event will be West Farms Bus Depot (1100 e 177th street Bronx NY 10460) located next to Starlight Park 177th street entranceÂ
We will be meeting at 9:30am at the West Farms Bus depot and then walking to the planting site.
