Bring a blanket and join us and the Bronx Park East Community Association for a *free* movie night at 7:00 pm on Friday Sept 23! We’ll be watching Disney’s “Encanto” at sundown in Bronx Park (near the entrance at Bronx Park East and Lydig Ave).
Come early for a free family friendly art activity from 6p-7p, celebrating the natural and human heritage of the Bronx River, and go back to a time when the river “ran silver” with fish.
The Bronx River Alliance serves as a coordinated voice for the river and works in harmonious partnership to protect, improve and restore the Bronx River corridor so that it can be a healthy ecological, recreational, educational and economic resource for the communities through which the river flows.
The Alliance works in close partnership with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation and with over one hundred other partners to reclaim the Bronx River.
