Learn about a community-based science effort to help find ticks that impact human and animal health in our community! Several tick species are moving northward and westward across New York State. Cornell University is running a project to keep track of where they are moving each year. Watch this short informational video, to learn more!
On Friday June 9, join Cornell staff at the Bronx River House at 2pm to learn about tick bite prevention with a short seminar, followed by a Mosquito Focus Group discussion. Learn how to protect yourself from these insects, and give input that will help local health agencies to develop better educational messages for our community.
