Join us on Thursday, 4/21 from 10-11:30am for an easy, flat nature walk along the Bronx River. Welcome spring in Mount Vernon with a family-friendly nature walk at the Oak Street Loop, part of the Bronx River Parkway Reservation. Learn about animals, plants, history, and more!
All ages are welcome, but children under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Meeting location will be the Northwest corner of Oak Street and N. MacQuesten Parkway (by the ExtraSpace Storage).
The Bronx River Alliance serves as a coordinated voice for the river and works in harmonious partnership to protect, improve and restore the Bronx River corridor so that it can be a healthy ecological, recreational, educational and economic resource for the communities through which the river flows.
The Alliance works in close partnership with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation and with over one hundred other partners to reclaim the Bronx River.
