Join our us in Yonkers to clean up along Bronx River Road. In addition to being an eyesore, trash along Bronx River Road ends up in our watershed and eventually floats downstream into the Bronx. Let’s stop it before it gets there! While on the clean up, you can also voice opinions about safety improvements needed on Bronx River Road. We will have gloves, pickers, and trash bags. Please dress appropriately and bring water.
The Bronx River Alliance serves as a coordinated voice for the river and works in harmonious partnership to protect, improve and restore the Bronx River corridor so that it can be a healthy ecological, recreational, educational and economic resource for the communities through which the river flows.
The Alliance works in close partnership with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation and with over one hundred other partners to reclaim the Bronx River.
