Join the Bronx River Alliance, Teddy Bear Project, and Riverkeeper for a cleanup at the Bronx River Forest for the 11th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep! Help us keep the Forest clean and free of litter for the wildlife that call it home and for the community that depends on this space for healing and recreation.
We ask all Sweep volunteers to also bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, and a face mask. Bring food if necessary. We will provide gloves and tools for collecting the trash!
Volnteers will meet at Burke Avenue Bridge inside the Forest (near 600 Burke Ave, Bronx, NY 10467). The site is a 1.5 block walk from the Burke Avenue subway station. For questions or concerns, email christian.murphy@bronxriver.org or call 718-542-4124.
