Field Training as part of becoming a Super Steward: NAVigator, an independent steward of the forest. Learn to identify and remove invasive plant species, and help foster healthy and sustainable forest ecosystems in NYC. This training is entirely outdoors, rain or shine, so please dress appropriately and bring water. Long pants and closed-toe footwear strongly recommended.
Meet at the Burke Ave Bridge, over the Bronx River, inside the park just west of the Bronx River Parkway.

The Bronx River Alliance serves as a coordinated voice for the river and works in harmonious partnership to protect, improve and restore the Bronx River corridor so that it can be a healthy ecological, recreational, educational and economic resource for the communities through which the river flows.
The Alliance works in close partnership with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation and with over one hundred other partners to reclaim the Bronx River.
