Join us on Sunday, September 12, 2021 for an Estuary Paddle** on the Bronx River!
**Due to downed trees from Ida creating blockages along the upper river section, this paddle has changed locations!
This guided paddle launches from Concrete Plant Park, and extends to the river mouth at the East River/Long Island Sound and back. Paddlers will find great shorebird watching, and will visit the site of the Soundview Oyster Reef.
The Bronx River Alliance serves as a coordinated voice for the river and works in harmonious partnership to protect, improve and restore the Bronx River corridor so that it can be a healthy ecological, recreational, educational and economic resource for the communities through which the river flows.
The Alliance works in close partnership with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation and with over one hundred other partners to reclaim the Bronx River.
