Bronx River Art Center (BRAC) is a culturally diverse, multi-arts, non-profit organization that provides a forum for community, artists, and youth to transform creativity into vision. Our Education, Exhibitions, Artist Studios, and Presenting Programs cultivate leadership in an urban environment and stewardship of our natural resource.
The Bronx Council for Environmental Quality, (BCEQ) is a non-profit 501(c)3 membership organization located in NYC’s only mainland borough — The Bronx. We are a diverse collection of individuals all seeking to leave our great grandchildren better air, land, and water quality than we have at present.
Banana Kelly Community Improvement Association, Inc. is only possible because residents, who were part of one of the most dramatic urban debacles of American history, were unrelenting in their fight to save their neighborhood – this despite the general consensus from outside the community that there was no future for the South Bronx, at least not for those who lived there.

The Bronx River Alliance serves as a coordinated voice for the river and works in harmonious partnership to protect, improve and restore the Bronx River corridor so that it can be a healthy ecological, recreational, educational and economic resource for the communities through which the river flows.
The Alliance works in close partnership with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation and with over one hundred other partners to reclaim the Bronx River.
