Friends of Inwood Hill Park seeks to unite members of the community in service of stewarding and enjoying the land of Inwood Hill Park and the Shorakapok Preserve.
New York City is home to approximately 1.64 million older adults, and the Department for the Aging (DFTA) is committed to helping them age in their homes and communities. Our mission is to eliminate ageism and ensure the dignity and quality of life of diverse older adults. We also work to support caregivers through service, advocacy, and education.
Founded with the help of Hudson Riverkeeper and the American Littoral Society in 1989, NY/NJ Baykeeper is a wholly independent nonprofit with its own 501c3. NY/NJ Baykeeper has a full and part time staff, its own Board of Directors and many dedicated volunteers.
