The Bronx River Foodway Team is excited to announce our 2nd annual Community Banquet! What started as a culminating event for the Edible Banquet workshop series in 2022 has become a new annual tradition for the Bronx River Alliance celebrating the Bronx River Foodway and the importance of public edible food forests in NYC. This year we are inviting nyc based foragers, chefs, cooks, artists, and stewards of the land to partner in our 2nd FREE annual Community Banquet, set to take place in Concrete Plant Park on Saturday, November 4th (no rain date) from 12-4pm. This year we are looking to feature:
- Foragers, cooks, chefs, and other food vendors willing to share wild tastings and edible offerings from our gardens and edible landscapes
- Facilitators interested in offering Art / Creativity / Educational based activities
- Partners interested in offering Handouts / Tabling around food, garden, and other environmental topics
**The Bronx River Foodway is offering 10x, $300 payment to support partners and their offerings for the Banquet. Priority will be given to facilitators and organizations with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ leadership.
