This Friday, October 25 from 4-6:30 PM marks Concrete Plant Park’s final Community Friday event of the season. Park partners including Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice, Concrete Friends, Unidos Abriendo Frontera, Shape Up NYC, NYC Parks, Big Reuse, and others have hosted free programming every last Friday from June through October. These come to a close with a special Halloween themed event.
Join familiar partners in closing the season out by dressing in your favorite book-inspired Halloween Costume for a chance in winning a Best Costume Prize. Enjoy our final community paddle out of Concrete Plant Park and grab a free book from Concrete Friends. Foragers can take a tour through the Foodway and collect seasonal medicinal herbs to keep them healthy through the winter.
