Foodway’s first season was a huge success! We celebrated the official launch on September 16 with food, music and performances. The Foodway also had the opportunity to paint a mural on its new container/community space. Many thanks to all who joined us.
Over the next month or so Foodway will be expanding. NYC Parks will be installing a new raised planting bed and trees, as well as a berry walk, fruit trees and a dry riverbed to help with drainage of the Pollinator and Fragrant Gardens. We are excited about the expansion and improvements and hope you will want to join us for future planting opportunities next year.
