As of this weekend, our program Project WASTE (Water And Street Trash Elimination) has hit a milestone of 200,000 collected and categorized pieces of floatable litter! Due to the dedication and contribution of all of our volunteers and stewards, we have been able to reach this incredible number. Project WASTE allows our community members to work with real life data, while also demonstrating the harm that floatable litter can inflict on their local river ecosystem.
