The Bronx River Alliance presents “Pollution Goes Where the River Flows”

For the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, the Bronx River Alliance was invited to celebrate with the Bronx Council for Environmental Equality (BCEQ) during their week-long programming. BCEQ is a non-profit made up of educators, community activists, and health professionals. They promote clean air and water, the protection and preservation of natural habitat, improving waste management to keep the environment clean, and more, all so that future generations will inherit a cleaner and healthier world than the one we currently live in. Our Director of Environmental Stewardship, Education Coordinator, and Ecology and Stewardship Associate presented “Pollution Goes Where the River Flows” where they introduced the Bronx River Alliance, its history and mission, and discussed our water quality data from 2019.
