Bronx River House awarded the 2022 AIA NY State Excelsior Honor Award!

droneshotBRH

Earlier this year the New York Times called River House, “the Greenest Building in the South Bronx”. While being recognized in the New York Times was already an honor, River House has received even more high praises right before our Earth Week Open House on April 23rd. The Brooklyn-based architecture design firm, Kiss + Cathcart, was awarded the 2022 AIA NY State Excelsior Honor Award by the American Institute of Architects for their work designing our Bronx River House!  The Bronx River Alliance is thankful to have their support in making the Bronx River house a center for environmental restoration, public education, and community programming both in function and design.
