Chey-Ann was born and raised in The Bronx. She has a strong academic background in environmental science. She holds a Master of Science in Applied Environmental Geoscience from Queens College and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Pace University. Throughout her education, Chey-Ann gained extensive experience in various environmental science disciplines, including hydrology, risk management, analytical techniques, and GIS mapping. She spreads her knowledge back to her own community by teaching the youth. She has taught S.T.E.M. topics to elementary and middle school participants by emphasizing critical thinking and scientific skills. She also collaborated with a Bronx public school to promote community exposure to the natural sciences by leading and organizing field trips. Chey-Ann is a dynamic environmental educator who combines academic excellence with hands-on experience, leadership in community projects, and a passion for fostering scientific curiosity in students.
