Johnathan was born in North Carolina and raised in NYC. He enjoys working for the Bronx River Alliance because everyday brings a new task and experience, there is never a dull moment! His job gives him the solace that he is leaving a positive impact in the community and for the Bronx River. From gardening to removing trash from parks, the Bronx River Alliance has given him the opportunity to continue to make a difference.

The Bronx River Alliance serves as a coordinated voice for the river and works in harmonious partnership to protect, improve and restore the Bronx River corridor so that it can be a healthy ecological, recreational, educational and economic resource for the communities through which the river flows.
The Alliance works in close partnership with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation and with over one hundred other partners to reclaim the Bronx River.
