YMPJ hosted a joint Bronx River Alliance/ GLOBE water quality monitoring training on Saturday, October 25th. The group that received training included educators from elementary, middle and high school, as well as the new Trout in the Classroom coordinator, Lillit Ayvasian. Peter Schmidt of GLOBE demonstrates the use of a transparency tube on the west bank at 174th St. and discusses why we need to monitor for transparency/turbidity.
